Scribe hails from the hills of Northern California. Fans on multiple occasions have reported experiencing “a calm, yet elated euphoric state, (after experiencing a Scribe show) that takes days to come down from, finally landing you gently after several days”.
“A good crisp slice of prog that harks back to the day yet sounds so modern.”

Scribe was first conceived in Upstate New York, in the small town of Glens Falls, in the basement of singer/bassist Jericho’s mom’s house. Acutely aware of a noticeable shortage of bass players in the area, Jericho, who was already a seasoned singer, said “I can sing and play the bass like Sting too, even if I can’t sing quite as high”. Jericho proceeded to learn every bass line and lyric by The Police by ear in a matter of weeks with the help of his mom’s boyfriend’s ancient Sears Roebuck bass and amp. A few weeks later, his older brother dropped his diamond needle on the middle section of Tom Sawyer by Rush and Jericho's jaw dropped. Game On!
Every since then, between playing and teaching bass for everyone else, Jericho was not so quietly honing his craft. Those early influences of Rush, The Police, Pink Floyd, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Elvis, and Jimi Hendrix, gave way to artists like Willie Dixon, Jaco Pastorious, Marcus Miller, Charlie Parker, acoustic guitar and singing in the style of Garcia/Grisman, broadway classics like Hair and Jesus Christ Superstar, and classical & jazz upright bass. This wide pallet of deep dives only enriched the songs and the dream of contributing to the history of rock power trios. Enter the perfect drummer Andrey Ravlyuk and the perfect guitar player, Zebulon Baldwin in 2025! This trio practices weekly in a zero drama environment and are all on the same page personally and musically!
Scribe is currently playing live shows around Northern California and making cool animated and live band videos. The band has completed their 3rd album “Thaw”.
